Qi Gong for Seniors

Qi Gong involves slow, flowing movements, deep breathing, and meditation to promote health and well-being. Qi Gong is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels, including seniors.

Qi Gong can be particularly beneficial for seniors, as it can help improve balance, flexibility, coordination, and overall physical fitness. It can also help reduce stress, improve mental clarity, and boost energy levels.

When practicing Qi Gong, we will start with gentle, low-impact movements and gradually increase the intensity and duration of the practice over time. I provide an emphasis on listening to your body and each movement can be adapted to your physical condition. You will become more aware of your own body, be able to reset your mind and eventually progress toward self-healing.

WHEN:  Thursdays, 9-10 am

COME PREPARED: Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Most standing movements can be adapted to a seating position. Feel free to bring a chair or a small stool.

COST PER PERSON: $10-20 Pay-As-You-Can fee per class

WHERE: Classes are held at Buddy Todd Park, 2800 Mesa Drive, Oceanside. Free parking available. More information on location.
